7 Things I wish I knew Sooner!

Your health is a journey, and it’s important to reflect on where you have been and where you are now. What’s worked, what hasn’t, and where can you make changes to support you moving forward.

I’m all about helping you get to your happiest and healthiest self by sharing my knowledge and what I have learned.

Here are 7 things I wish I knew early on in my health journey!

1. Protein is king

It keeps your body satisfied and full throughout the day. It also works well with carbohydrates by slowing down the blood sugar spike.

2. Strength training is essential

Building muscle mass, giving glucose a place to go without creating insulin in the body, and strengths your bone density

3. Sleep must be prioritized

Without rest, the body runs on fumes, and systems operate below optimal and compensate in other areas. You can't wait to sleep when you're dead!

4. Saying no is a boundary & form of self-love

You can say no! There is only so much time and energy so you get to prioritize!

5. Change isn’t instant, it takes time

There are simple swaps and solutions that support long-term change but there isn’t a quick fix. It takes commitment, dedication, and sustainable changes to make it last!

6. Lifestyle > Diet

Your health is so much more than just what you eat!!

7. I don't need alcohol to have fun

Alcohol can be a part of a healthy lifestyle but it also isn’t needed in order to have fun, go out, let loose, and make memories!

**Bonus The body can heal itself, by itself given the chance.

As always, start small and pick 1 you want to adopt into your lifestyle.

What do you wish you had known earlier??
