Recipe: Burger Bowl Supreme

I love a good deconstruction of some classic go-to's and putting a different spin on them.

Taking all your favorite things from your burger choice and putting them in a bowl, what's not to love? Simple to throw together in under 30 minutes.

I honestly went to my fridge while the ground beef was cooking and asked 'what else can I throw in here"?!

What you need (this is just what I used):

  • 1-2 pounds of organic ground beef (ideally grass-fed).

  • large handful of greens (I used a mixture of kale, arugula, and micro-greens)

  • mushrooms

  • tomatoes, diced

  • pickles

  • avocado

  • cheese (optional - I used Raw Milk Cheese)

  • Sauerkraut (great source of probiotics)

  • Sweet potatoes

  • Sauces of choice (I had ketchup and some homemade chic-fil-a sauce)

  • salt, pepper, garlic, Worcester sauce

What to do:

In a medium pan, cook your ground beef until no longer pink, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic, and Worcester sauce to taste (like you are making your burger patties, so whatever else you want to throw in there!) I added some mushrooms too to cook down.

I had leftover sweet potatoes in the fridge, making them easy to add. You can always chop these, toss them with some oil, and bake/air fry them while cooking your ground beef.

On a cutting board, chop or prepare your greens, tomatoes, avocado, and any other fixings. You can then create your bowl with your desired amounts of each!

Remember, having variety in foods makes it interesting but also nutrient-dense getting an array of macronutrients, as well as vitamins and minerals!

This is great for anyone at the table! We have his & hers bowls from when Joey & I made them!

What else would you add to your burger bowl?!
